May 2009
"The kitchen
was downstairs and very large. There were numerous counters and
tables for food preparation. To the right
in the photo
was a very large barbeque area with very large spits to cook large
amounts of meat on. It has been restored very nicely."

"Not having
modern refrigeration, the game was stored in this game larder.
This particularly fascinated my Grandsons,
who visited Fota
House with us on this particular day."
