Author's note about Waterford Crystal: I have always liked Waterford Crystal. It is beautiful and elegant in its own way and a wonderful work of art. A year or so ago while in Ireland, we visited Waterford City and walked through the Waterford Crystal Factory. We had gone that day up the Cork Road, with sprinkles and rain showers our companions through many small villages until we arrived at Waterford, on the coast in County Waterford.
