I have always enjoyed the beauty of flowers. I think that is because my Father, Mother and Wife have always gardened. My Father, when he was a young man grew Pelargoniums of all sorts. He really enjoyed them. My Mom, with her roses and sweet peas, was always trimming a rose bush or cutting a bouquet for our house. My wife, early on let me know of her love for daffodils and that has expanded out to violets, sweet peas and geraniums, and for years we planted our daffodil bulbs. So, it is in my inheritance and being. There is something about planting and grooming the flowers, especially geraniums, and I have become somewhat of a person who sees a beautiful geranium blooming and says, "Oh, I would love to have a cutting of that plant!" Recently I did that at one of my wife's relative's house that was about to be sold, and soon, my car trunk was brimming with wonderful geraniums!!!!!!!!
A note on the photography: Camera: Sony Mavica F83, some taken in macro mode. I hope you enjoy the beauty of my flowers.
"People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us."-----Iris Murdoch

"As I work among my flowers, I find myself talking to them, reasoning and remonstrating with them, and adoring them as if they were human beings."-----Celia Thaxter (1835-1894)
