"Gardening is about enjoying
the smell of things growing in the soil, getting dirty without
feeling guilty, and generally taking the time to soak up a little
peace and serenity."

My daughter Cathy loves flowers also. We
had been visiting her family in Ireland in April, 2004 and I had
an opportunity to photograph some of her flowers which she grows
there in that beautiful village by the sea. We will always go
there. It is peaceful and beautiful and wonderful! Here are some
of Cathy's flowers.

O geraniums, and yours O foxgloves,
Springing up amidst the coppice,
That gave my childish cheeks
their rosy warmth.

"When at last I took the
time to look into the heart of a flower, it opened up a whole
new world.....as if a window had been opened to let in the sun."
