A note from the author: I will always remember the beautiful camellias that my Father raised at his house for many years. He always took such good care of them and really loved their beauty. The plants were in the front of the house and rather tall and very green. When they would bloom, there seemed to be absolutely hundreds of buds. They were whites, reds and pinks. They were so beautiful. His Father George, (my Grandfather), gave him one or two of the plants when he was alive. They continue to grow today.

Author's note: A Camellia from my Father's garden:this photo was taken long ago by my Father at our house. The camellia plants are still there, gracing the front windows of the house. The beauty of the camellias has endured over the years and continues to do so. I shall always remember them.
I "stumbled" upon these camellias in a church garden while photographing. I was not looking for the camellias and was totally unaware of their presence among the impatiens, heather, trumpet vine, begonias and society garlic which were healthily florishing there. My eyes were drawn, I think, to the beautiful pink of the blossoms. They leaped out at my senses, I could not refuse the photographs!! Camellias are beautiful and pristine--a bit of nature's beauty on display! I hope you enjoy this beauty as much as I have.
